Please Note:
Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by a paid adult registered in the program.
This 2 km hike follows narrow, uneven dirt trails.
With slopes up to 25 degrees, the trail is not accessible for wheeled mobility devices or strollers.
Participants must wear sturdy outdoor footwear, and bring water.
Participants are strongly encouraged to wear hats and use sunscreen.

Summer 2025 (June 27 – August 31; daily): 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m.
Fall 2025 (September 1 – October 13; Tuesday – Sunday): 10:45 a.m.
Summer in Alberta's badlands can be very hot, often reaching 30°C. However, cool, cloudy, windy, and rainy days are possible. Bring clothing suitable for a range of conditions, including:
Sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots (flip flops, sandals, etc. are not permitted on hikes)
A water bottle (mandatory on outdoor programs when the temperature is over 28°C)
