Field Station at Dinosaur Provincial Park

The Royal Tyrrell Museum’s Field Station is located in the Visitor Centre at Dinosaur Provincial Park, about two hours southeast of Drumheller. Dinosaur Provincial Park was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 due to its international scientific significance. Even after a century of fossil collecting, the badlands of the Park continue to yield important fossils.
