The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Visitor Services Representative to join the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology. The Visitor Services Representative is responsible for collection of admission and program fees from individuals or groups visiting the Museum. The Visitor Services Representative welcomes visitors, promotes museum services, and responds to visitor questions about the Museum and surrounding community.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing and friendly nature with a focus on customer service
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new software applications
- Attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve
- Enjoy being part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment
Assets:
- Cash handling experience
- First Aid certification
- Multilingual
Compensation:
- Minimum wage: $17/hour, based on qualifications and experience
- Group Health Benefits Plan
- Group RSP Plan
Terms: Full-time permanent, to start as soon as possible
Hours of work: Shifts as scheduled including weekend, evening, and general holidays
