The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Seasonal Science Educator to join the Science Education team at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology located in Drumheller, Alberta. The Seasonal Science Educator will deliver a variety of public programs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of interactive public programs and auditorium presentations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of post-secondary training, with preference for biological or environmental sciences, education, communications, performing arts, or a related discipline
- Work or volunteer experience delivering educational or interpretive programs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Enjoy working with people of all ages
Assets:
- Base knowledge of Earth and life sciences
- Valid security check
- First Aid certification
- Multi-lingual
Term: fulltime, 7.25 hours per day, May 1 to August 31, 2025
Salary: $18.00 per hour
